Sharon is a life-long resident of North Dakota and grew up on the family farm. She went on to pursue an Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Sharon spent many years as a Professor of Business and Human Resources. Her students trusted her expertise and sought her out for insurance and financial advice.

This was the motivation to take the next step in professional development and become securities- and insurance-licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota in 2004 and opened her own insurance agency.  Sharon absolutely leaned in on the insurance industry and made that her career path representing group health insurance and group voluntary benefits for a while. Over the past years, she has shifted somewhat to primarily serving the insurance needs of seniors navigating the complexity of Medicare and Part D plans. However, she still represents currently top carriers for all of the individual ancillary supplemental insurances and fills those needs for every age.

As time permits, Sharon enjoys going back into a classroom setting when she hosts community Medicare educational events to break down the parts of Medicare Plans A, B, C, and D in a simple, understandable format.
